Around the holiday season, we get so busy with shopping, friends, family these are all things I cherish. It also is a time to remember to give to those less fortunate. How better to do that than with volunteering at Feed My Starving Children. Being an employee of Redwood, I feel honored to know that I work for a company that supports and joins us in volunteering for a great cause. It’s about remembering what this holiday season is truly about. It also allows us to do something together as a company to give back. I hope everyone enjoys making a child’s belly full during this season and can continue this tradition for our Redwood family for many years to come!

My experience with Redwood Residential has been nothing short of amazing. I started with the company in October 2020, even with all things COVID going on there was support from day one. Bethany, my property manager was super welcoming! She took me under her wing and insured that I was trained properly on the systems to be successful in my role. I recently switched properties after a sale and my new manager Stephanie is just as helpful! She is encouraging and keeps the office flowing. Redwood truly cares about their employees and gets to know them on a personal level. We are a rapidly growing company but still keeps the small company feel! Redwood values employees and looks to promote from within, which I am looking forward to my own growth within the company. They constantly are advocating for employees work/life balance. I love that corporate holds a monthly call that keeps everyone up to date with all the new growth that is going on. This year has been my best in my career in multifamily housing and I cant wait to see what the future holds.

Our people-first mindset extends beyond the perimeter of our daily interactions, which is why we created our Redwood Cares program. Committed to giving back and building up the neighborhoods in which we serve, our program features a dedicated team of individuals who are always on the lookout for volunteer opportunities to enrich our teams and communities.
Our team inspires us daily with their active engagement in community outreach and involvement.
During Habitat for Humanity’s 2020 Women Build Week, members of our team helped renovate a home and raise more than $7,000 over the ten-day event.
Our team supported community gardens in the south side of Chicago with After School Matters, a nonprofit that provides life-changing after-school and summer program opportunities to 19,000 high school teens each year.
We supported the 2021 Foods & Goods drive, bringing almost 150 pounds of donated items for Common Pantry.
